Who we are …

We are a registered charity organisation shattering isolation by fostering a supportive community that ensures every family has a Dementia Doula by their side. One that brings a constant source of guidance and strength leaving no one behind.

Our aim is to create an ongoing pathway for families throughout the dementia trajectory that ensures all our initiatives are designed and there for the long haul without the risk of disruption when families need them most.

We know that in Australia, around 70% of people with dementia live within their local community. By fostering a community based approach, all businesses, organisations, services and community groups are better placed in being who families need them to be.

As a united front, our team here at Dementia Doulas Australia will continue to provide specialised Dementia Doulas in communities that sit outside of mainstream services.
